Craft Revolution is proud to announce that Barcelona based Estrella Damm beer will join their portfolio.  This major addition sees the iconic Spanish brand join Kona Brewing Co, Ballast Point Brewing and East 9th Brewing in the Craft Revolution Portfolio. The agreement will see the Estrella Damm range, including Inedit Damm and other Damm brands available nationally from June via the Craft Revolution distribution network.  Products will be available via ALM, 100 Proof and other independent wholesalers.
“This is an exciting time in our business” says Drew Lette General Manager of Craft Revolution, “our portfolio of beers continues to grow, the inclusion of Estrella Damm sees our continued business momentum.  Estrella Damm is one of the world’s most iconic breweries with a great heritage and tradition that sees it available throughout the world. Our recent addition of Ballast Point brewing and the continued growth of the Kona brand allows us to invest in our capabilities and continue to expand our national footprint.”   “Our business is all about service and in the coming months we will be able to bring that benefit to the Estrella Damm customer base. “
“The partnership with Craft Revolution is a strategic decision for the Australian market through which we will have access to a really wide distribution network” says Filip Dobosz, Country Manager for APAC in DAMM. Estrella Damm is present in over 90 countries worldwide; being one of the few independent breweries which is still brewed 100% at origin (Barcelona).  “After several years being present in Australia, we now really think it could be one of the key markets for Estrella Damm”.

Estrella Damm, brewed in Barcelona with Mediterranean ingredients since 1876.
Over 140 years ago, young master brewer August Kuentzmann Damm emigrated from Alsace with his wife Melanie, fleeing the Franco-Prussian War.  The journey took them to the Mediterranean
coast where they settled down to make their dream come true: brewing beer. In 1876 they set up their own brewery and created a beer that was adapted to the Mediterranean climate

Brewed in Barcelona, Estrella Damm is world renown for flavour born from the original recipe from 1876, the result of a combination of 100% natural ingredients: barley malt, hops and rice from the Ebro Delta to give the beer a refreshing palate.  Working directly with local Mediterranean farmers to deliver 100% quality natural ingredients. We also use our unique yeast, that we have been using for 140 years, and a lot of patience, as it takes a minimum of three weeks to complete the fermentation and conditioning process.

In our relentless search for quality we have further darkened our brown bottle to provide 30% more protection against harmful light than the standard brown bottles, to ensure that you can enjoy the true Mediterranean taste of Estrella Damm.

Australian craft beer fans to get a taste of Ballast Point on tap via Constellation Brands & Craft Revolution deal Creates Steady Sculpin, specific beer made for the Australian Market

A range of craft beers from California based Ballast Point Brewing Co will be offered on tap through Australian owned distributor Craft Revolution as part of a new on-premise partnership with Constellation Brands.

The deal will see a wide range of Ballast Point skus available to hospitality outlets serviced by the Craft Revolution team, including a lower alcohol Ballast Point, Steady Sculpin IPA developed specifically for the Australian market. Along with the Steady Sculpin, Aussie craft beer fans will be able to enjoy the award-winning Sculpin, Grapefruit Sculpin, Barrel Aged beers, Sours, and seasonal offerings. The first REEFER container is due into Australia in April, in time for Good Beer Week in Melbourne on 10 May.

Awareness of the Ballast Point range is growing among Australian beer consumers with the range already available at selected Dan Murphy’s stores via a distribution partnership with Pinnacle Drinks.

The move to an on-premise offering is an exciting step forward for the Ballast Point brand in Australia, says Chris Roberts, Constellation Brands Vice President of International Sales. “We have a fantastic product range but to deliver great product we also need a strong partner and we have that in Craft Revolution. I have always looked forward to the day that I could get a pint of Ballast Point Sculpin when I am at a pub in Australia and I’m happy to say that day is now just around the corner,” says Chris.

Craft Revolution is a Melbourne based distributor of local and international Craft Beers, with a strong presence via a field sales team and wholesale distribution network nationally. Drew Lette, General Manager of Craft Revolution declared “It’s a real privilege to partner with Ballast Point to bring their acclaimed beers to on premise venues. Our mission as business is to bring the craft revolution to Australian drinkers, with this partnership we deliver one the great craft beers to Australian drinkers.”

Ballast Point Sculpin IPA is a great example of what got us into brewing in the first place. After years of experimenting, we knew hopping an ale at five separate stages would produce something special. The result ended up being this gold-medal winning IPA, whose inspired use of hops creates hints of apricot, peach, mango and lemon flavors, but still packs a bit of a sting, just like a Sculpin fish.

About Ballast Point

We started out in 1996 as a small group of San Diego home brewers who simply wanted to make a better beer. In our exploration, we became obsessed with ingredients—tinkering, testing and tasting to find the perfect balance of taste and aroma. That adventurous spirit leads to award-winning beers in classic and unique styles while challenging our own tastes and expanding yours. We’re proud of our San Diego hometown, our employees, our beers, and our fans. We think of our employees as family, and you, our fans, as extended family. You’ll see us use #BPPROUD as a badge of pride and a way to further connect with our beer loving community. For more info visit
